Red latan

Latania is a genus of three natural species from the Mascarene Islands.

They have stiff, fan-shaped leaves that give them a unique look and make excellent pot plants when young. Easy to grow, undemanding, and will thrive in a wide range of warm frost-free climates. Easily recognizable species, especially when young, by the reddish color of its spectacular leaves and petioles, from which it receives its name.
