St. Augustine grass

An excellent pasture and lawn grass, somewhat invasive but shallow rooted. It looks best when well-watered and not too closely mown. Given good conditions it makes a delightfully springy lawn.

St. Augustine Grass can only be grown under subtropical or tropical conditions as it cannot stand frost.
