Sea lavender

Endemic

Limonium sinuatum is native to the Mediterranean area but there are several species in the genus Limonium that are endemic to the Canary Islands. Close relatives are well known everlasting flowers in British gardens. The straw coloured inflorescence is striking, but the actual small flower is white and falls off when drying.
