In recent months, we have completed several important renovations that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and service quality:

• the complete renewal of the low-voltage installation throughout the entire basement, ensuring greater electrical safety and stable operation;
• the installation of a shared photovoltaic system, allowing us to generate clean energy and reduce our carbon footprint;
• the new flooring in the entire kitchen, which is more hygienic, safer, and more comfortable for our team’s daily work;
• the integrated overhaul of the air-conditioning system, which provides greater efficiency, improved climate control, and optimal comfort throughout the hotel and
• now the refurbishment of the machine room, with modernized equipment that optimizes energy consumption

These improvements bring numerous advantages: increased safety across all facilities, energy savings and sustainability, more pleasant and functional workspaces for our team, and an overall more efficient, quieter, and more comfortable operation of our technical systems. With every step, we remain true to our philosophy: to offer a hotel that is safer, more comfortable, and more environmentally friendly.

After considering many requirements, we have now selected a new flooring for our hotel bedrooms. Among others, the following aspects were very important to us:

barefoot comfort
noise reduction
fire resistance
Easy to clean and maintain
indoor air quality

In terms of design, with our architects and their inspiration, we have now chosen a vinyl floor covering that fits the overall concept of the Tigaiga and also includes the wall design and the furniture. In this way we achieve a harmonious overall picture that reflects the identity of our hotel.

We care deeply about the safety of our guests and hope to offer you a sustainable flooring solution that contributes to your Tigaiga well-being.

i4Trust is a project in collaboration with the Fiware Foundation to develop innovative services around data value chains in the tourism sector, where the lead company of this project, Graffos, will provide data related to the mental well-being of the user or User Mood, while enjoying the amenities, services, and experiences of accommodation at the Tigaiga hotel.

This project is a pioneer at a global level, and it is the desire of the company Graffos to be one of the indicators that allow identifying hotel locations and services as Mentally Healthy Destinations in line with Mindful Travel.

This is the third time we have visited the Florasol and it only gets better! Under new management this last year it now has better reception service and much improved wifi in all rooms. The apartments are roomy with generous private balconies complete with loungers and dining table and chairs, and new flatscreen tvs with hdmi input option. The pool is small but quite big enough for a cooling dip and has more loungers around it as well as pretty gardens. The location is a pleasant fifteen minute walk (downhill) to the busy town centre shops and restaurants- you can do much of it through Tauro Park if you check a map.

When we come in the winter, the gated hotel is largely populated with retired sun-seeking German couples who are very easy company. No noisy children or boisterous types. It is perfectly possible to accommodate a family of four comfortably but it works very well for older people and I would hope it continues to fill this particular niche now the apartments are being upgraded this year. Improved shower and kitchen facilities address the two main areas of weakness in the past and the show apartment we saw was a sensible enhancement of the available space with a new wet room rain shower and a four ring halogen hob in the kitchen.

Although reception is only open in the morning, the new management is the nearby Hotel Tigaiga and we checked in there when we arrived in the afternoon. All the staff are highly competent, poly lingual and very helpful as are the restaurant staff present for the excellent breakfasts they offer. Easy parking is possible just outside the apartments.
