Tigaiga renews its ISO 9001, 14001 and EMAS certifications

The quality and environmental management systems at the Tigaiga have been developed since 1995 (Spanish hotel certification Q) and 2002 respectively.

Currently everything is digitised and most of our employees access the systems. The environmental processes are integrated in the quality management system ISO 9001: 2015.

In March 2020, the hotel was audited by the international TÜV Rheinland compan , including new covid-19 measures. We have checked the processes for the reopening and hope to open as soon as international flights go into operation.

Since 1959 by the Talg family´s founder D. Enrique Talg Wyss, excellent service, maintenance of the gardens and environmental protection in Tenerife have been of crucial importance. We continue working in the Tigaiga with the aim of guaranteeing incomparable experiences with friendly service and secure customer care!

EMAS is our premium environmental management tool to achieve this. It leads to enhanced performance, credibility and transparency of more than 4,500 registered organisations worldwide.

The hotel Tigaiga, like all EMAS organizations, publishes yearly an environmental statement for the interested public.

In it, the company is described with its activities, its products and services. Also included is the environmental policy, data on environmental performance is presented (the so-called core indicators, i.e. energy efficiency, waste and emissions), significant environmental impacts and the environmental program with the specific goals for the improvement of our environmental performance.
